Frederick County Public Schools Elementary School Rezoning

In August 2020, Frederick County Public Schools will be opening Jordan Springs Elementary School in Snowden Bridge. To prepare for the opening of the new school, a committee that included community members and school staff conducted a northeastern area elementary rezoning study which resulted in a rezoning proposal to create an attendance zone for Jordan Springs Elementary School. The rezoning, which will take effect at the beginning of the 2020-21 school year, was approved by the School Board on December 17, 2019, and will impact some students attending Redbud Run and Stonewall elementary schools.
